Montale Mango Manga is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2010, created by Pierre Montale. Mango Manga opens with Orange, Neroli, and Mango, and settles into a heart of Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang. Montale's Mango Manga carries an Acquired verdict, a tropical-led wear.

This one's a real marmite scent. Some love its candied, overly-ripe mango and tropical florals, while others find it a horrific synthetic mess, smelling of cat urine, rotten fruit, or cheap car freshener. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

A warm-weather pick - at its best in spring and summer.

Best Occasions

Best For:

Its bold, occasionally cloying sweetness and strong projection make it less suitable for formal or office settings. However, it excels in casual and date environments where its playful, tropical vibe can shine through without overwhelming. It's often too sweet for active sports.

About

Opens with a blast of intensely ripe, almost fermented mango and juicy orange, reminiscent of bubblegum or tropical candy. This initial sweetness soon gives way to a prominent heart of creamy ylang-ylang and delicate jasmine, before settling into a somewhat woody and earthy base that often divides opinions. The tropical fruit is present, but it’s not alone, surrounded by a medley of florals and woods that can lean green or even synthetic depending on the wearer.
