Milanation For Women

Perfume Parlour Milanation For Women is an Eau de Parfum launched in 1981. Milanation For Women opens with Orange Blossom and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Tuberose, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, and Gardenia, and dries down to a base of Oakmoss, Patchouli, Sandalwood, and Cedar. Perfume Parlour's Milanation For Women carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

Milanation chases Giorgio Beverly Hills, the 1981 tuberose-chypre powerhouse once banned from restaurants. The big honeyed tuberose-and-gardenia heart survives, but Perfume Parlour renders it flatter and sweeter, trading some of the original's mossy bite and ferocious projection for a more wearable, closer drydown.

About

Giorgio Beverly Hills was the loud, golden tuberose chypre that defined 1980s glamour - a spicy orange-blossom opening barrelling into an intoxicating tuberose, gardenia and jasmine heart over oakmoss, patchouli and sandalwood. Milanation captures that DNA but reads more linear. The opening still pops with orange flower and bergamot, yet the chemical-sweet tuberose blast is dialled back a touch and the heart leans creamier with ylang-ylang. Where the original's chypre base bristled with dry oakmoss, the Perfume Parlour take softens it with vanilla and warm woods, so the drydown sits closer to the skin and projects less aggressively. It still wears as a confident, statement white floral - just one that whispers in the hours the original would have shouted. Best for cooler evenings and dressed-up occasions where a bold floral signature is welcome.
