Sand Feet

Perfume Parlour Sand Feet is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2012. Sand Feet opens with Lemon, Pink Pepper, and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Coconut, Heliotrope, and Ylang-Ylang, and dries down to a base of Benzoin, Cedar, and Musk. Perfume Parlour's Sand Feet carries a Statement verdict, a creamy-led wear.

Sand Feet chases Maison Margiela's Replica Beach Walk - that nostalgic suncream-and-coconut summer scent of citrus, soft florals and creamy warmth. It captures the sun-kissed, beachy signature, but renders it flatter, with the original's realistic, transportive blend simplified and projection pulled in to a closer wear.

About

Sand Feet opens bright and zesty: lemon and bergamot with a peppery pink-pepper lift, the same crisp citrus that introduces Beach Walk before the cream arrives. The heart is the star - a soft coconut milk wrapped in powdery heliotrope and a tropical ylang-ylang, conjuring that sunscreen-on-warm-skin, soft-floral-and-ocean-air mood the original is loved for. The base settles into benzoin, dry cedar and clean musk, keeping the dry-down warm and skin-like. Against the genuine Margiela it is less realistic and less evocative: the coconut reads a touch more candied, the florals thinner, and the nostalgic 'beach holiday in a bottle' magic is dialled down, with projection staying modest and turning skin-close within a couple of hours. Still, the sunny, creamy, summery mood comes through faithfully. It trades the original's transportive realism and refinement for budget value, an easy warm-weather scent for casual days, the beach and daytime dates.
