Tobacco Vintage

Perfume Parlour Tobacco Vintage is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2023. Tobacco Vintage opens with Blood Orange, Apple, and Mandarin, settles into a heart of Tobacco, Neroli, Cinnamon, and Ginger, and dries down to a base of Guaiac Wood, Lemongrass, Frankincense, and Iris. Perfume Parlour's Tobacco Vintage carries a Favourite verdict, a citrus-led wear.

A budget take on Ibrahim Al Qurashi's French Tobacco. Tobacco Vintage captures the bright blood-orange and green-apple opening over a soft green-tobacco and woody-iris base that defines the original, but Perfume Parlour's version reads flatter and a touch sharper, and like the original the promised tobacco stays whisper-quiet, the citrus doing most of the talking.

About

Tobacco Vintage opens bright and zesty, blood orange, green apple and mandarin tumbling out in a lively, energising citrus burst, the same sparkling entrance that made Ibrahim Al Qurashi's French Tobacco a sleeper hit. The heart is where the name promises tobacco, but as with the original, the green French tobacco reads more like a soft green-tea facet, lifted by neroli and warmed with a whisper of cinnamon and ginger. It settles onto a smooth woody base of guaiac wood and lemongrass with a thread of frankincense and powdery iris for a refined finish. Set beside the original, the Perfume Parlour interpretation keeps that fresh citrus-woody character recognisable but reads flatter and a touch sharper, missing some of the seamless, polished drydown of the original. Longevity is moderate, in line with French Tobacco's five-to-eight-hour summer reputation. For a few pounds it delivers that bright, fruity-fresh signature faithfully, an easy daily companion for warm days.
