Rebel Aromas Cherry Temptation is an Eau de Parfum. Cherry Temptation opens with Bergamot and Black Cherry, settles into a heart of Rose and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Cedar and Vanilla. Rebel Aromas's Cherry Temptation carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Rebel Aromas' Cherry Temptation is a budget riff on Tom Ford's Lost Cherry, trading the original's boozy bitter-almond depth and Turkish rose for a louder, flatter cherry-vanilla candy accord. It's an honest sniff of the concept but skips the roasted tonka warmth entirely, and fades in a couple of hours rather than the original's all-day performance.

About

Cherry Temptation opens with a bright, syrupy black cherry note over a light bergamot fizz, aiming squarely at the gourmand-fruity signature of Tom Ford's cult Lost Cherry. Where the original layers in bitter almond, griotte liqueur and Turkish rose for a boozy, grown-up complexity, this dupe keeps things simpler: jasmine and rose sit in the heart mostly to soften the fruit, while vanilla and cedarwood provide a serviceable but two-dimensional base. It reads sweeter and less boozy than the reference scent from the first spray, with none of the roasted tonka or sandalwood depth that gives Lost Cherry its lingering warmth. Projection is decent for the first hour but the whole composition flattens out quickly, settling into a soft cherry-vanilla skin scent within a couple of hours. It's a fair everyday alternative for anyone who likes the idea of a cherry gourmand without wanting to commit to the real thing, but it won't fool anyone familiar with the original up close.
