Rebel Aromas Liberty is an Eau de Parfum. Liberty opens with Citrus and Rose, settles into a heart of Violet and Peony, and dries down to a base of Musk and Sandalwood. Rebel Aromas's Liberty carries an Acquired verdict, a rose-led wear.

Liberty leans on YSL Libre's signature rose-and-violet backbone but strips out the lavender and orange blossom that give the original its bold, gender-fluid edge. What's left is a softer, more conventional rose floral with a simpler musk-sandalwood base and noticeably less staying power.

About

Liberty opens with fresh rose and a citrus lift, sweeter and lighter on its feet than YSL Libre's punchier lavender-forward start. The heart settles into peony and violet, a pretty but flatter echo of Libre's more layered floral bouquet. Musk and sandalwood close things out with a soft, powdery warmth, missing the original's slightly boozy, ambery depth. Where Libre asserts itself with real projection and hours of drydown, Liberty is louder for the first half hour then fades to a gentle skin scent, so it suits daytime wear rather than the evening statement the original is built for. It's a reasonable way to try the rose-violet family on a budget, but not a true stand-in for Libre's complexity.
