Rebel Aromas Ocean Blue is an Eau de Parfum. Ocean Blue opens with Sea Water and Citrus, settles into a heart of Aquatic, Jasmine, and Lavender, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, and Cedar. Rebel Aromas's Ocean Blue carries an Acquired verdict, a aquatic-led wear.

Ocean Blue captures the citrus-aquatic idea of D&G Light Blue Pour Homme but with a louder, more synthetic opening and a thinner, shorter-lived woody-musk base than the original's polished Mediterranean freshness.

About

Ocean Blue leans on the same fresh-citrus-and-sea-air formula that made Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme a modern classic, but the mandarin and bergamot brightness here is brasher and less refined. The jasmine-lavender-aquatic heart is pleasant but flatter, missing the rosemary and Szechuan pepper spice that gives the original its Mediterranean character. Cedarwood, musk and amber close things out with a comparable clean-woody finish, though performance drops off noticeably sooner, needing a reapply where the original's moderate 4-5 hour wear would still be going. It is a decent, wallet-friendly way to try the aquatic-citrus genre, but it does not match the layered sophistication of the D&G original.
