Rebel Aromas Rogue Charm is an Eau de Parfum. Rogue Charm opens with Citrus and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Spicy, Jasmine, and Peach, and dries down to a base of Amber, Cedar, and Vanilla. Rebel Aromas's Rogue Charm carries an Acquired verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Rogue Charm takes its cue from Chanel's Bleu de Chanel, keeping the citrus-woody idea but losing the original's smoky incense-vetiver backbone for a sweeter peach-vanilla-amber finish. The bright grapefruit-style opening is recognisable, but it settles into something softer and less masculine than Bleu de Chanel's signature dry, smoky drydown.

About

Rogue Charm takes on Chanel's Bleu de Chanel, one of the best-selling men's fragrances of the modern era thanks to its crisp citrus-and-mint opening that dries down into a smoky incense-vetiver-cedar base with real depth and longevity. Rogue Charm opens on a similar bright citrus-bergamot accord, capturing the fresh top notes reasonably well. The jasmine-peach-spice heart introduces a sweeter, fruitier turn than the original's ginger-nutmeg spice, moving further away from Bleu de Chanel's drier character. The amber-cedarwood-vanilla base is warm and pleasant but lacks the incense and vetiver that give the original its distinctive smoky sophistication, and it fades to a light sweet musk within a couple of hours rather than lasting through a full day. A solid citrus-woody option for the price, though it leans softer and sweeter than the sharp, versatile original.
