Skip this one. Despite some promising notes, the execution is a muddled mess. It's a sweet, powdery headache that doesn't quite know what it's trying to be.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Summer Fall
Also Works:
Winter

Built on citrus, powdery and white floral - a composition that sits best in spring, summer and autumn.

Best Occasions

The strong, cloying sweetness and heavy powdery accord make this unsuitable for close-quarters environments like the office or formal events. It might work for a casual evening out if applied very sparingly, as it reads as quite potent and can be overbearing.

About

Samah Ruby opens with a confusing blast of synthetic citrus and cloying cotton candy, immediately drowned by an overwhelming, heavy powder. Hints of blackcurrant and saffron try to surface through the sweet haze but are quickly swamped. The heart reveals a timid, dusty violet alongside a barely-there jasmine, fighting for space. The dry down attempts a creamy musk and cashmeran base, but the whole thing remains an unbalanced, sickly sweet and powdery affair.
