Caramel Dream Body Mist

Caramel Dream is the lighter, all-over version of the Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream eau de parfum, and it keeps the same skeleton rather than being a cheap approximation of it. Gil Clavien built it as a chocolatier fantasy: almond milk, sugared lemon, orange zest and freesia open it, so the first minute is milky and citrus-bright rather than immediately heavy. The heart is where the name lands, with dark chocolate bean, vanilla, tiger orchid and orange blossom giving a rich cocoa sweetness cut by a slightly exotic floral edge that keeps it from reading as a dessert candle. Caramelised amber, patchouli, sandalwood and musk finish it, and the patchouli is the interesting part, adding an earthy shadow underneath all that sugar. As a mist it wears the way mists do: light, close to the skin, and generally an hour or two on most people, though Parfumo raters give it slightly better longevity than the format usually manages. Spray it liberally and expect to reapply. It is at its best in autumn and winter, works as a daytime sweet fix rather than a going-out scent, and layers well under the matching eau de parfum.
