Aventus Absolu

The Essence Vault Aventus Absolu is an Eau de Parfum. The fragrance opens with Pineapple, Bergamot, Blackcurrant, and Apple, settles into a heart of Birch, Patchouli, and Rose, and dries down to a base of Oakmoss, Musk, Vanilla, and Ambergris.

The Essence Vault's interpretation of Creed's Aventus Absolu (2024) - the deeper, sweeter, more concentrated cousin to the iconic 2010 Aventus, here translated into a budget reading with the pineapple-birch-oakmoss spine still legible. Honest dupe-fidelity for office and date-day wear.

About

Inspired by Aventus Absolu - 997 is The Essence Vault's budget reading of Creed Aventus Absolu, the 2024 high-concentration evolution of Olivier and Erwin Creed's iconic 2010 Aventus. EV's pyramid mirrors the original community pyramid closely: a pineapple-bergamot-blackcurrant-apple opening, a birch-led heart with patchouli and rose in support, and a base built on oakmoss, musk, vanilla and ambergris. The first hour is the strongest match: pineapple lifts the opening as the headline note, with the bergamot and blackcurrant adding lift and a faint smoky edge from the birch already coming forward - the signature of Aventus has always been that fruity-smoky tension, and Absolu pushes the sweetness fractionally higher. By the heart the birch deepens and the rose adds a soft, polished warmth, with patchouli giving the woody anchor. The dry-down trades on oakmoss and musk for the classic chypre-leaning close, with vanilla adding the Absolu's distinct sweet finish. Performance is the budget compromise: six to eight hours of moderate sillage rather than the eight-to-ten reported on the Creed original. The character is confident-modern masculine, with spring through autumn the strongest seasons and office, date and casual-day the natural settings. The honest caveat: at fifty millilitres for twenty-five pounds the smoky birch density and the smooth oakmoss-ambergris polish that give the Creed bottle its addictive depth are softened here, and the dupe reads cleaner and shorter-lasting than the original. For wearers curious about Creed's 2024 reformulation before committing to a three-hundred-pound bottle, this is a faithful enough sketch. Sits next to other budget pineapple-smoky dupes (the long line of Aventus clones from Armaf, Lattafa, and Afnan) in the dupe-house neighbourhood, while the original sits with Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint, Tom Ford Italian Cypress, and Initio Side Effect in the modern designer-luxury conversation.
