The Parfum Hub Red Sea is an Eau de Parfum. Red Sea opens with Saffron, settles into a heart of Rosemary, and dries down to a base of Oud. The Parfum Hub's Red Sea carries an Acquired verdict, a oud-led wear.

Red Sea sticks to Reef 33's stark three-note saffron-rosemary-oud formula and the opening spice-to-oud transition is a decent echo, but this version's oud comes across harsher and more synthetic-smelling than Reef 33's smooth original.

About

Red Sea is a minimalist dupe of Reef Perfumes' bestselling Reef 33, following the same lean three-note structure: saffron up top, a rosemary pass through the heart, then oud carrying the entire base. Reef 33 built its reputation on being an accessible, well-blended oud that doesn't scare off newcomers to the note, and this dupe captures that basic shape reasonably well in the opening. The gap shows up in the oud quality itself - Reef 33's oud stays smooth and slightly sweet through the drydown, while Red Sea's version leans harsher and more medicinal after the first hour or two, which is a common tell in budget oud reformulations. A fair entry point if you want to test whether you like oud fragrances before committing to the original.
