Tokyo Milk Parfumerie Curiosite Excess is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2011, created by Margot Elena. Tokyo Milk Parfumerie Curiosite's Excess carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

This one's a proper love-it-or-hate-it affair. Expect deep, earthy patchouli with a medicinal twist that some find divine and others, well, just plain dodgy. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Excess opens with a bold, almost medicinal hit of patchouli and oak, soon warmed by a dry, resinous amber. A whisper of blood orange attempts to cut through the earthiness, adding a fleeting bitterness rather than juicy sweetness. It settles into a dark, woody-amber base, evoking ancient forests and smouldering incense rather than anything overtly fruity or bright.
