About

Alessandro Gualtieri founded Nasomatto in Amsterdam in 2007, with his debut Black Afgano inspired by hashish featuring smoky incense, oud, and cannabis notes. He created Duro for Nasomatto to evoke male strength with woody leather intensity, Baraonda with a realistic whiskey accord, and Narcotic V. exploring feminine sexual power via white florals. In 2014, he launched Orto Parisi inspired by his grandfather's Puglia garden, including Megamare capturing oceanic power and Terroni evoking volcanic earth. Earlier worked with Fendi, Versace, Helmut Lang, and Diesel. Also founded Maria Lux with wife Lilian Driessen.
