RDZ Parfums
Draws on Puerto Rican and Philadelphia urban/lifestyle references, often building complex unisex compositions with edible-fruity facets (e.g. lemon, cherry, grape, pineapple, mango), green/floral garden notes, salty nuances, and darker touches of tobacco, cannabis, woods and resins.[1][2][3]
Alex Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican perfumer and the founder/owner of the independent house RDZ Parfums, based in Philadelphia. He creates scents inspired by both his native Puerto Rico and Philadelphia, including fragrances such as “Leyenda 21,” the first perfume launched by RDZ Parfums, and “Philadelphia,” described as a fragrant homage to the city that blends fruity water-ice notes with florals, grass, salt, tobacco and cannabis. Rodríguez also composed “Art Museum,” a complex perfume built around heliotrope, chamomile oil, patchouli, palo santo, papitos, sage, frankincense, lavender, sandalwood, ginger and leather, sold via the RDZ Parfums website and Perfumology in Old City Philadelphia.
