Alla Grigoryevna Belfer is a Soviet/Russian perfumer associated with the historic Moscow house Novaya Zarya (also known as Nouvelle Etoile). She is credited with creating Yaroslavna, a woody fragrance released in 1964 by Nouvelle Etoile to honor cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space. Another documented work is Renommee (Renommee / Renomée), launched in 1978 by Novaya Zarya, for which Mercari and fragrance databases list her as the perfumer. Beyond composition work, she authored the technical book “Novye parfyumernye izdeliya za rubezhom” (New perfumery products abroad), published in Moscow in 1978 by TsNIITEIpishprom, indicating involvement in research and documentation of international perfumery trends.
