Christopher Chong

Christopher Chong is a Hong Kong‑born, London‑based fragrance creative best known as the long‑time creative director of Omani niche house Amouage. He joined Amouage around 2004 and over roughly 15 years oversaw the creation of close to 50 perfumes, helping transform the brand into a global name. In 2019 he left Amouage, and in 2022 was appointed Brand and Artistic Director at British fragrance brand Thameen London. Chong studied at London University and the London College of Fashion and came to perfumery from a background in the arts and academia rather than classical industry training.
