About
Elie Roger began his perfumer training in Grasse, France, in 1946 and joined Firmenich in 1971 as a perfumer based in New York. He was nominated a master perfumer in 1978, later worked in Paris, and retired in July 1991. His named creations include Estée Lauder Knowing (1988) and Clinique Wrappings (1990). In 2001, he received the American Society of Perfumers' Lifetime Achievement Award.
