Sources highlight her work on Coriandre (1973) for Jean Couturier, described as a floral chypre that brought pronounced rose and jasmine facets into the chypre structure while retaining spicy-aromatic, green and woody elements. This suggests a style that blends classical chypre architecture with prominent floral notes and a green, spicy character.

About

Jacqueline Couturier is a French perfumer and the daughter and granddaughter of perfumers; she grew up in Grasse, often described as the cradle of perfumery. Multiple brand sources note that she is one of the relatively few female perfumers of her generation. Trained in perfumery by her husband, Jean Couturier, she created Coriandre for Parfums Jean Couturier in 1973, a rose-based floral chypre that is frequently cited as having disrupted classic chypre codes. Later, she also composed Kéora for Jean Couturier, launched in 1983. Her work for the Jean Couturier brand is documented on Fragrantica and in official brand/retailer biographies.
