About
Laura Vera co-founded the fragrance company Chemarome and served as its chief perfumer from 2010 to 2020, working in Barcelona and Jakarta. She became CEO of Chemarome-Zaphir on January 1, 2021, based at the company's headquarters in Barcelona; the company described her appointment as making her the first woman to lead a multinational fragrance-composition company. She was also a finalist for the 2023 Beautyworld Middle East Award in the Perfumer of the Year category.
