About
Dr Paolo Vranjes is an Italian pharmacist, chemist and cosmetologist based in Florence. In 1983 he and his wife Anna Maria founded L'Antica Officina del Farmacista in the city, a laboratory that combined personal care with scientific research and Tuscan craft. In 1999 he moved into perfumery by creating ambient fragrances, and the house became known as Dr. Vranjes Firenze, with an octagonal bottle inspired by Brunelleschi's dome. Its range grew to room diffusers, candles and other home fragrances. In 2024 the brand joined the L'Occitane Group and was renamed Vranjes Firenze.
