About

Romano Ricci, born on May 10, 1978, is a French perfumer and entrepreneur who has carved a unique path in the world of luxury fragrance. As the great-grandson of legendary designer Nina Ricci and grandson of Robert Ricci, the creative mind behind the iconic L'air du temps, Romano inherited a rich family legacy in fashion and perfume. Despite these prestigious roots, Ricci chose to become a self-taught perfumer, collaborating with renowned industry names such as Francis Kurkdjian, Isabelle Maillebiau, and Pierre Bourdon for seven years to hone his craft. In 2007, he launched his own brand, Juliette Has A Gun, which quickly became synonymous with modernity, feminine empowerment, and irreverent creativity. The brand distinguishes itself with playful, provocative names and a bold reinterpretation of classic perfumery, drawing inspiration from Shakespeare’s Juliet reimagined as a symbol of independence and attitude. Ricci is also a co-founder of Nose, further reflecting his commitment to creative and innovative fragrance experiences. His unconventional approach and distinctive blends have made him a trailblazer, with Juliette Has A Gun representing a fresh, contemporary voice in niche perfumery.
