Shinichiro Oba is a Japanese perfumer working for International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). According to his LinkedIn profile, he joined IFF in 2019 as an apprentice perfumer, later becoming Junior Perfumer, Cross Category in Singapore in 2022, and Junior Perfumer, Fine Fragrance in Dubai from October 2024. He previously worked as a chemist in the R&D department of Inoue Perfumery Mfg. Co., Ltd. in Tokyo from 2012 to 2015, synthesizing and analyzing fine chemicals, flavors and fragrances. IFF’s social media confirms he is currently based in Dubai and part of IFF’s fine fragrance creation team, and he was featured at Beautyworld where he created an accord using LMR Tangerine heart with LMR coffee CO₂ extract.
