Sonia Constant is a celebrated French perfumer who has left an indelible mark on contemporary perfumery. Born in Paris in 1987, her fascination with scents began in childhood, leading her to pursue formal training at ISIPCA in Versailles and the Givaudan School of Perfumery. Despite facing early skepticism from her family and industry challenges, Sonia's perseverance and creative drive propelled her into the heart of the fragrance world. She started her career at Givaudan as a laboratory assistant, learning under the esteemed Olivier Pescheux, and quickly advanced to become one of the house's leading talents. Over two decades at Givaudan, Sonia composed an impressive portfolio of fragrances for major brands such as Tom Ford, Narciso Rodriguez, Jean Paul Gaultier, Mugler, and more. Her style is evident in bestsellers like Tom Ford's Ombré Leather and Noir Extrême, Narciso Rodriguez For Her Pure Musc, and Jean Paul Gaultier's La Belle and Le Beau. In 2017, Sonia began a new chapter by founding Ella K Parfums with her husband, also a perfumer, embracing a more personal and philosophical approach to scent creation. Her work is inspired by travel, art, and nature, and she is recognized for her ability to blend modernity with sensuality, consistently earning acclaim in the industry.
