God of Fire
Eau de Parfum
Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777
Highly artistic niche compositions built around his synesthesia, treating colors, words and images as starting points for accords. Strong influence from Middle Eastern/Oriental themes, especially in the 777 series, with frequent use of rich resins, woods, spices and balsamic notes. Visual symbolism (temple-like flacons, serpent motifs) is tightly linked to the olfactory structure.
Stéphane Humbert Lucas is a Paris-based perfumer, painter and poet who discovered his passion for art and perfumery early in life. He studied painting in the south of France with a Flemish master, specializing in the tempera technique and developing a fascination with pigments and textures. During this period he became aware of his synesthesia, where visual stimuli trigger olfactory impressions, and began experimenting with scent through color. In 2012 he founded his own niche house, Stéphane Humbert Lucas Paris, where he created at least two main lines: the 777 collection, inspired by his extensive travels in the Middle East, and the Serpent collection, which explores snake-related symbolism and legends. He has also been associated with the brands Nez à Nez and So Oud, and is noted for using synesthetic correspondences between colors and notes as the starting point for his compositions.
