432 recreates Hugo Boss's Boss Bottled almost note-for-note - apple and bergamot up top, cinnamon and mahogany at the heart, sandalwood and vanilla underneath. The apple leans sweeter and more one-dimensional than the original's famous 'apple pie' accord, and the whole thing wears closer to the skin, but the family resemblance is obvious from the first spray.
