A fantasy note for apple spirit. It smells of hard alcohol and oak cask with caramelised apple through it, not of fresh fruit.

Scent Profile

Boozy leads. It is the only facet two independent sources both call dominant. Kafkaesque reports 'a tsunami of pure, hard alcohol', and a Parfumo reviewer names rum and 'a dark wooden barell that had the boozy juice inside'. Fruity sits, above brandy's, because the apple is what names the note and all three sources open on it: 'tart, crisp, and tangy like a Fuji', 'crisp, freshly-peeled apple', 'fruity fresh opening'. It is held below boozy because every source then reports it losing. Temptalia's line is exact: 'the apple felt like it flavored the booziness rather than the other way around'. Sweet_vanillic for the caramel half of the accord, 'exactly like a caramelized apple at a fair, covered in heavy, dense toffee', plus Temptalia's vanilla in the drydown. Dry_woody for the cask, named by two sources: 'the oak which really evokes oak barrels in the strongest way possible' and the 'dark wooden barell'. Warm_spice for the cardamom and peppery opening one Parfumo reviewer reports, which no other source confirms.

Used as the boozy gourmand centre of a composition rather than as a fruit top note. Reviewers report the apple fading within minutes while the alcohol, caramel and oak carry the wear.
