About
Blue tansy is the oil of Tanacetum annuum, a Moroccan annual, and it is not the common tansy Tanacetum vulgare. It is steam distilled, and chamazulene formed during distillation gives it a deep blue colour. It smells sweetly herbaceous, with an apple and chamomile fruitiness, a green camphoraceous lift. The colour limits where it can be used.
