Linaloe Wood
Note Profile
About
Sweet, floral-fresh rosewood-like wood
Scent Profile
Linaloe wood smells sweet and woody with a bright, floral-fresh lift, close to rosewood. The wood is soft and smooth rather than dry and sharp. A breezy freshness and a touch of green fruit sit over it. The smell holds steady from start to finish.

Usage in Perfumery
Perfumers use linaloe wood oil as a stand-in for rosewood oil. It gives floral compositions extra lift, and it blends with patchouli in chypre accords, with lime and citrus, and with pine.
