About
Suederal is a dry suede note with warm tobacco under it and a smoky, phenolic edge. It is strong. A castoreum-like animalic warmth sits behind the leather and keeps it from reading as a clean suede.
Scent Profile
Leather is the note and all three sources put it first: Perfume Extract opens 'Leathery, Suede', Perfumer's Apprentice gives only 'Leather, Suede, Strong', and Fraterworks calls it 'a sophisticated dry suede character'. Tobacco_hay and animalic are the two facets named next in every list - Fraterworks writes 'warm tobacco' and 'a refined castoreum-like animalic warmth', and Perfume Extract names Tobacco and Castoreum in that order. Smoky is the phenolic edge, named by both sources that go beyond three words. Earthy is named once, by Perfume Extract, and is held below the smoky value because only one source claims it. Amber_resinous and dry_woody are the tail of Perfume Extract's list and are treated as supporting facets, not character.

Origin
Suederal is a specialty leather base from IFF, sold to perfumers as Suederal LT. It is made by synthesis. IFF publishes no public olfactive datasheet for it, so the descriptions available come from perfumery suppliers who resell it.
Usage in Perfumery
Used in the base to build leather and suede accords. It carries a whole leather structure on its own, so it needs little support. Perfumer's Apprentice lists it as 'Strong', which is a dosing warning as much as a description.
