About

Lemon Groove is the newest Abbey Perfumery release, a 2026 limited edition and the only one in the range built on a citrus liqueur note. Limoncello opens it, which differs from a straight lemon in being sweeter, rounder and slightly syrupy rather than sharply peeled, so the first impression is warm citrus rather than a cold one. Magnolia and tuberose take the heart and this is a heavier floral pairing than the opening prepares you for: magnolia brings a lemony, creamy quality that bridges neatly from the top, while tuberose is the assertive one, rich and slightly buttery, and it is what gives the middle real presence. Vetiver finishes it, dry, rooty and faintly smoky, which cuts the sweetness of both the liqueur and the tuberose and stops the composition turning syrupy. That contrast between bright top, rich middle and dry base is what makes it more interesting than a straightforward summer citrus. Spring and summer are its seasons. Sold in 100ml and a 2ml sample only, and as a limited edition it will not be around long.
