Aromara Italique is an Extrait de Parfum. Italique opens with Citrus and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Cedar and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Musk. Aromara's Italique carries a Statement verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Italique is Aromara's take on Xerjoff Italica, matching the bergamot-jasmine-white musk signature at a fraction of the near-£400 original. It captures the bright, clean citrus-musk feel well, though the original's silkier, more layered musk finish is simplified here.

About

Italique is Aromara's version of Xerjoff Italica, a citrus-floral musk from the Italian niche house that regularly commands close to £400 a bottle. Aromara built its take around the same bright framework: bergamot and citrus open it, jasmine and cedarwood carry the heart, and a clean white musk holds the drydown. Those who have compared the two say the citrus-musk skeleton is unmistakably there, and the freshness reads true, but Italica's reputation rests partly on an unusually silky, almost skin-like musk finish that is hard to replicate at this price point - Italique's version is a bit more one-dimensional by the final hours. Still, as an easy, office-friendly citrus-musk for warmer months, it is a legitimate everyday alternative to a scent most people will never own a bottle of, and the freshness holds up well through a working day.
