Aromara Orchid Noir is an Extrait de Parfum. Orchid Noir opens with Truffle, Bergamot, and Ylang-Ylang, settles into a heart of Spicy, Orchid, and Lotus, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Vanilla, and Incense. Aromara's Orchid Noir carries an Acquired verdict, a sweet-led wear.

Orchid Noir is Aromara's take on Tom Ford Black Orchid, the dark glamorous icon. At 35% Extrait the truffle-orchid-patchouli backbone is close, though the dupe leans sweeter and less layered than Tom Ford's dense, luxe original.

About

Orchid Noir opens with truffle, ylang-ylang and bergamot, an unusual dark-fruity start that mirrors Black Orchid's signature entrance. Orchid, spices and lotus build a rich floral heart before patchouli, vanilla and incense settle a dark, sweet base. Tom Ford's original layers truffle against a more complex spice-and-incense structure with genuine depth and a distinctive gourmand-floral tension; this version simplifies that into a more straightforwardly sweet vanilla-patchouli finish, trading some of the original's mystery for an easier, more immediate sweetness. The truffle-orchid-patchouli-vanilla arc still reads as a clear homage. It has strong persistence and noticeable projection, suited to cold-weather evenings and dressier occasions where its richness has room to shine.
