Aromers No 65 Noir Extreme is an Extrait de Parfum. No 65 Noir Extreme opens with Cardamom and Nutmeg, settles into a heart of Kulfi and Orange Blossom, and dries down to a base of Amber and Sandalwood. Aromers's No 65 Noir Extreme carries a Statement verdict, a warm spicy-led wear.

Noir Extreme's unusual milky-spiced-amber profile is a distinctive one to imitate, and the cardamom-orange blossom heart is a decent echo, but the amber-sandalwood base is less rich and shorter-lived than Tom Ford's dense original.

About

No 65 takes on one of Tom Ford's more idiosyncratic masculines in Noir Extreme, whose signature is an unusual milky-sweet accord (built around a kulfi-style pistachio-and-cream note) layered with spiced cardamom and orange blossom. This dupe's cardamom-nutmeg opening and the milky heart note are a fair approximation of that unusual profile. The amber-sandalwood base, however, comes across noticeably thinner than Noir Extreme's genuinely dense, long-wearing original, fading to a light warmth rather than the rich, syrupy finish Tom Ford built the scent around. A reasonable, more affordable way to sample the milky-amber genre, without the full-strength richness of the designer version.
