The difference is in the finesse: MFK's hedione gives Oud Silk Mood a radiant, almost translucent quality that makes the oud feel refined rather than heavy, and this dupe's version reads a touch flatter and more conventional, without that same luminous lift. Projection is moderate and settles close to the skin fairly quickly.
