Avon Aspire is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2011, created by Nathalie Feisthauer. Aspire opens with Aldehydes, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom, Rose, Jasmine, and Iris, and dries down to a base of Musk, Virginia Cedarwood, and Sandalwood. Avon's Aspire carries a Statement verdict, a textural-led wear.

This aldehydic floral is a divisive scent, often compared to Elizabeth Arden's Red Door, offering a bold, classic aroma. Some find it a luxurious, unique gem, while others are less convinced, labelling it as dated or 'old lady'-ish. Definitely a 'try before you buy' situation.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

Fall Winter

A cold-weather scent - best worn in winter and autumn.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Formal
Also Works:
Office Casual

Its strong sillage means it might be too much for some office settings, though the clean aspect makes it adaptable. The bold, classic floral profile and good longevity make it suitable for dates, formal events, and general casual wear where you want to make a statement.

Declarable allergens

We derive these from the materials behind this fragrance's notes, not from the bottle. Each one is likely, not confirmed. The list is partial - the box can name others.

About

Aspire opens with a bright, clean burst of aldehydes, setting a distinctly crisp and somewhat 'soapy' tone from the get-go. As it settles, a rich floral heart emerges, blending African orange flower with rose, jasmine, and iris, creating a mature and well-rounded bouquet. The dry down introduces a warm, comforting base of musk, Virginia cedar, and sandalwood, providing depth and a lasting clean finish that lingers on the skin.
