Avon Facets is a Cologne launched in 1988, created by Ann Gottlieb. Avon's Facets carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

An 80s icon that still holds up, Facets is a creamy, sweet, and surprisingly nuanced floral that's miles better than its Avon badge suggests. Expect a lot of 'where did you get that?'

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Facets opens with a rush of heady white florals, primarily a sweet, almost banana-like tuberose, softened by delicate violet and a rich jasmine. As it settles, a warm, balsamic labdanum emerges, blending seamlessly with subtle incense and a grounding sandalwood. The base reveals a quiet oakmoss and musk, providing a vintage, powdery depth without ever becoming harsh or dated.
