About

Mandodari lists twenty-two notes in a single group, from aldehydes and civet to champaca, jasmine, gardenia, tuberose and orange blossom. Add oakmoss, labdanum, ambergris, sandalwood, patchouli, teak and tobacco, and you get a heavy, rich and woody base. Cumin, pepper, clove, camphor and ash bring spice and smoke, while opium and rose add resinous, floral depth. It reads as a big, dark, animalic white floral with plenty of drama.
