Dumo Luxury Perfume's Commodus carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Skip this one. It's a sweet, woody citrus mess that tries to do too much without mastering anything. A swing and a miss.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall
Also Works:
Spring

Its woody, citrus and warm spicy composition leans towards autumn.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Casual

The strong, somewhat brash character of the woody citrus and warm spicy accords makes it unsuitable for professional settings. It leans more casual, but its lack of refinement prevents it from being a good choice for dates or formal events.

About

Commodus opens with a blast of synthetic citrus and apple - sharp, almost chemical, and not in a good way. The heart attempts some floral warmth from heliotrope, but it’s quickly overtaken by a heavy, cloying clove. It dries down to a muddled base of cedar and sandalwood, drowned in an overly sweet, powdery patchouli that just refuses to blend. Instead of sophisticated, it’s just sticky.
