About

Olympéa's whole identity hinges on one unusual pairing: a green, almost aquatic mandarin-jasmine opening crashed into a heart of salted vanilla, the salt keeping the sweetness from tipping into candy territory. Dupe Lympic follows the same three-part structure, right down to the ginger flower and ambergris, and the opening is a genuinely close match - crisp, green, slightly floral. Where it loses ground is that salted-vanilla heart, which is Olympéa's signature and the hardest thing to replicate; here the vanilla is pleasant but straightforwardly sweet, missing the mineral edge that makes the original feel modern rather than gourmand. The sandalwood-cashmeran-ambergris base is present but thin, settling to skin scent well before Olympéa's own eight-to-ten-hour run.
