Eden Perfumes No.421 Dolce Vita is an Eau de Parfum. No.421 Dolce Vita opens with Red Apple, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom, and dries down to a base of Olive Tree, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. Eden Perfumes's No.421 Dolce Vita carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Dior Dolce Vita is a fruity-floral cult classic built on apricot, iris and vanilla. Eden's No.421 leans harder into the red apple and orange blossom opening for an easier, sweeter everyday take, trading Dior's powdery iris refinement for a simpler, louder fruit-forward drydown at a fraction of the price.

About

Dior's original Dolce Vita is a soft-spoken fruity floral built around apricot, cinnamon and orange blossom over an iris and vanilla base, prized for its warm, nostalgic sweetness rather than any loud statement. Eden Perfumes' No.421 takes that same fruity-oriental skeleton and simplifies it: a bright red apple top note stands in for the original's stone-fruit blend, African orange flower carries the floral heart, and a base of sandalwood, olive tree and vanilla replaces Dior's more layered iris-benzoin drydown. The result is flatter and less nuanced than the designer version, with less of that hazy, vintage-leaning powderiness, but it captures the same comforting fruity-woody mood for a fraction of the cost. Longevity and projection are moderate rather than the original's confident sillage, so it reads best as a cosy daytime scent for autumn and winter rather than an evening statement piece. It suits anyone who loved the idea of Dolce Vita but never got round to buying a full bottle, or wants a low-commitment vegan alternative to test the fruity-oriental family before investing in the real thing.
