Tobacco - Absolut Perfume

Tobacco Absolut is part of Eden Perfumes' own Absolut collection rather than an inspired-by alternative, and it wears with real confidence for the price. It opens on a citrussy, faintly salty accord that immediately gives way to a dry tobacco-ash note, evoking the wood-panelled bars and private lounges the brand references in its own marketing. The character is clean, authoritative and a little severe, closer to a fragrance you'd wear to close a deal than to relax in. Through the middle and base, warm woody notes and a soft amber settle in underneath the tobacco, adding weight without turning sweet or gourmand, which keeps the overall impression polished rather than cosy. It leans more masculine in tone but has no reason it couldn't be worn by anyone drawn to a smoky, professional signature. Best suited to autumn and winter, and to formal or office settings where a composed, slightly severe presence is the goal.
