Franck Boclet Nirvana is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2021, created by Bruno Hervé. Nirvana opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Orange, and Basil, settles into a heart of Grapefruit, Jasmine, Plum, and Mango, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Sandalwood. Franck Boclet's Nirvana carries a Statement verdict, a fresh-led wear.

This one's a proper head-scratcher: a bold, unconventional blend that some adore for its unique tension and others find a chaotic mess. You'll either get its vibe or you won't.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

The large name is the everyday one. The small name is the INCI form on the box, so you can compare the two. Reactions differ between people. A patch-test panel is not a ranking of risk. How we derive this

About

Nirvana kicks off with a zesty, bitter hit of bergamot and basil, like sun-warmed herbs with a sharp citrus edge. This quickly melts into an unexpected heart where tropical mango and plum are tart and fibrous, not overly sweet, mingling with a subtle, green grapefruit. It's a challenging, almost unripe fruitiness. The dry down is a warm, woody embrace of cedar and sandalwood, softened by creamy amber and benzoin, with just a ghost of musk and civet adding a touch of animalic depth.
