Nevermore opens with a sharp, almost metallic aldehyde kick, quickly ushering in a dark, peppery rose. Nutmeg and saffron add a dry, warm spice that intertwines with the rose, giving it an ancient, almost dusty feel, before settling into a woody, amber base that is both melancholic and intriguing.
