Inspired Oil Perfumes Angel is a perfume oil. Angel opens with Bergamot, Mandarin, Jasmine, and Melon, settles into a heart of Caraway, Red Berries, Rose, and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Chocolate, Musk, Amber, and Sandalwood. Inspired Oil Perfumes's Angel carries an Acquired verdict, a gourmand-led wear.

Inspired By Angel pushes the cotton candy-caramel sweetness up even further than Mugler's already-maximal original, so the patchouli that anchors and darkens the real Angel gets overwhelmed by an even sweeter, more one-note gourmand.

About

Mugler's Angel is one of the most divisive fragrances ever released, its praline-patchouli gourmand structure built to be both cult-loved and genuinely polarising - a huge cloud of caramel, red berries and honey balanced, just barely, by a dark, earthy patchouli base that keeps it from tipping into pure confectionery. This oil takes the sweet side of that equation and runs with it: cotton candy, caramel and chocolate come through loud and clear, and the honey-berry heart is generous and true to the original's fruit-forward richness. But the patchouli base, which is what makes Angel a serious fragrance rather than just a dessert, is noticeably softer here, so the composition tips further into straightforward sugary gourmand territory than Mugler's carefully engineered contrast.
