Inspired Oil Perfumes SpiceBomb is a perfume oil. SpiceBomb opens with Bergamot, Grapefruit, Pink Pepper, and Elemi, settles into a heart of Paprika, Cinnamon, and Saffron, and dries down to a base of Leather, Vetiver, and Tobacco. Inspired Oil Perfumes's SpiceBomb carries a Statement verdict, a spicy-led wear.

Inspired By SpiceBomb keeps the saffron-cinnamon spice recognisable but the whole thing sits much closer to skin than Viktor & Rolf's original, which is built to detonate outward - here it reads as a warm spice skin scent rather than an explosion.

About

Viktor & Rolf's Spicebomb is deliberately loud, its grenade-shaped bottle matching a fragrance engineered to project hard: bright pink pepper and grapefruit give way fast to a fiery saffron-cinnamon heart and a smoky tobacco-leather-vetiver base built for maximum reach. This oil gets the spice profile right in outline - saffron and cinnamon both come through, and the tobacco-leather base is present - but none of it has the original's throw. Without the alcohol carrier to help the top notes burst outward, the whole composition reads as a cosy, warm spice note close to the skin rather than the aggressive, room-filling scent the name promises. Pleasant for personal wear, but it loses the entire point of the original's persona.
