Jaguar Stance is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2018, created by Michel Almairac. Stance opens with Mandarin, Pepper, Cardamom, and Nutmeg, settles into a heart of Cashmere Wood, Cedar, Vetiver, and Patchouli, and dries down to a base of Papyrus, Musk, Amber, and Oakmoss. Jaguar's Stance carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Jaguar Stance is the fragrant equivalent of that bloke at the pub who's trying a bit too hard. It smells 'nice' enough, but it's utterly unoriginal and a bit synthetic. Avoid if you've ever smelled another perfume in your life.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Fall
Also Works:
Winter

Built for the cooler edges of the year - spring and autumn pair best.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Date

The warm spicy and vanilla accords, alongside a consensus on decent longevity, make it tolerable for casual and date wear. However, its perceived synthetic edge and lack of sophistication mean it's not well-suited for formal environments or the office, and certainly not for active sports.

About

It kicks off with a blast of peppery spices and a slightly synthetic apple, like a fruit bowl left next to a spice rack in a rush. The heart tries to salvage some class with a woody cashmere and cedar blend, but it's fleeting. Then you get a vanilla and amber base that's meant to be warm, but just feels generic and, again, a bit plasticky. It's an attempt at a modern masculine scent, delivering a woody, spicy, and subtly sweet profile, but it falls short on execution.
