Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Pride Edition 2026 is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2026, created by Quentin Bisch. Classique Pride Edition 2026 opens with Bergamot, Lemon, and Almond, settles into a heart of Petitgrain, Mimosa, and Mint, and dries down to a base of Musk and Ambroxan. Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique Pride Edition 2026 carries a Favourite verdict, a yellow floral-led wear.

Not a recolour of Classique but a different scent entirely. Almond and mimosa make a soft powdery yellow floral, with mint and petitgrain keeping it green. Charming, light, and gone from shelves by autumn.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Summer

Mimosa, mint and petitgrain over a light musk and ambroxan base make a bright, green floral that suits mild weather. There is no resinous or ambery weight to hold up in winter.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Office Date Casual

Light projection and a clean musky drydown make it an unobtrusive daytime and office choice. It is too casual to carry a formal evening.

About

The Pride editions are an annual fixture for Jean Paul Gaultier, and the 2026 Classique is a genuine reformulation rather than the usual bottle art exercise. Anyone expecting the ginger and orange blossom of standard Classique will be surprised. Quentin Bisch opens it on almond with bergamot and lemon, so the first impression is nutty and sweet with a citrus lift rather than the powdery florals the line is known for. Mimosa runs the heart and gives the composition its character: yellow, honeyed, faintly dusty, the sort of floral that reads as sunlight. Mint and petitgrain sit alongside it and pull hard in the opposite direction, adding a cool green bitterness that stops the almond and mimosa from becoming cloying. That tension between soft and sharp is the most interesting thing about it. The base is deliberately simple, musk with ambroxan, which gives a clean skin like warmth and decent tenacity without adding weight. It is a light scent by design. Wear it in spring and summer, in the daytime, to the office or casually. It has the easy inoffensiveness of a good cologne while keeping enough almond sweetness to feel like a perfume. As a limited edition in the Safe Sex Forever graffiti bottle, it will not be around long, so treat availability as the main constraint.
