Another 13 turned Ambroxan into the centrepiece of a minimalist, transparent fragrance rather than a background note, and it remains one of Le Labo's most imitated releases for exactly that reason. Jubilee's LL209 reproduces the key structure well: a bright, slightly metallic pear-apple opening giving way to an ambrette-musk heart and the same warm, skin-like Iso E Super and Cetalox base that gives the original its intimate, almost animalic quality. Reviewers note it smells almost identical to the original, if slightly softer. The main gap is pacing: the real Another 13 takes its time letting the top notes recede before the musk takes over, while LL209 arrives at that musky, ambered base a little faster, giving it marginally less of the layered development the original is known for. Still, as a modern, unisex, minimalist-musk scent at this price, it's a genuinely close match.
