Jubilee Scents TF67 - Black Orchid is an Eau de Parfum. TF67 - Black Orchid opens with Truffle, Bergamot, Lemon, and Mandarin, settles into a heart of Fruity, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, and Orchid, and dries down to a base of Chocolate, Musk, Amber, and Sandalwood. Jubilee Scents's TF67 - Black Orchid carries an Acquired verdict, a oriental-led wear.

Chases Tom Ford Black Orchid's dark, truffle-chocolate opulence with a similar note list, though it lands lighter and less resinous than the original's dense, luxurious drydown.

About

TF67 opens with the same unusual truffle-and-black-currant combination that made Black Orchid famous, layering in gardenia, ylang-ylang and jasmine before a spiced, fruity floral heart. The base brings back chocolate, patchouli, vanilla, amber, sandalwood and vetiver to recreate the original's dark gourmand-oriental drydown. It's a decent approximation of one of the most distinctive fragrances of the 2000s, but the truffle note is thinner and less earthy here, and the overall composition reads sweeter and less resinous than Black Orchid's genuinely opulent, brooding character.
